Service Description
VO₂max measurement: Measures how efficiently your body uses oxygen during exercise, providing an objective picture of your cardiovascular fitness and aerobic capacity. VO₂max can be useful for understanding your current fitness level, tracking changes over time, and supporting healthy aging. Personalized heart rate training zones: Identifies the heart rate ranges that correspond to different exercise intensities, so you know how hard your body is actually working. These zones can help guide everything from easier, sustainable exercise to more challenging workouts based on your individual physiology rather than generic age-based formulas. Ventilatory threshold measurement: Identifies the points during exercise when your breathing and metabolism begin to change as intensity increases. This helps determine which exercise intensities you can comfortably sustain and where exercise becomes significantly more demanding. Detailed exercise recommendations: Your results are translated into practical guidance for exercising at the right intensity for your goals, whether you’re looking to improve cardiovascular health, increase endurance, maintain fitness as you age, or improve athletic performance.

SCHEDULING Appointments are confirmed only after online booking, completion of the health questionnaire and waiver, and payment (or a credit card on file). Clients receive confirmation immediately and reminder emails/texts 72 hours and 24 hours before the appointment. RESCHEDULING If you need to reschedule, contact Dr. Hampers at dr.hampers@vo2themaxx.net or text at 303-328-1044. More than 48 hours before the appointment: Free. 24-48 hours before: One complimentary reschedule if requested online or by phone. Less than 24 hours before: considered a late cancellation. CANCELLATION More than 48 hours before: Full refund or credit toward a future appointment. 24-48 hours before: No cancellation fee, but refunds are issued as account credit rather than back to the original payment method. Less than 24 hours before: 50% of the appointment fee is charged. No-show: 100% of the appointment fee is charged.
